CROSS SCYTHES CATERING - OUTSIDE CATERING FOR ALL OCCASIONS
Scythes Catering is an independent business based in the south of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, on the outskirts of the Peak District National Park.
The Business is run by Ben Stazi who has worked in the industry for over 20 years. He forged his way through the trade learning from and working with some great colleagues over the years, notably while working for fantastic operators such as Stuart Hitchman and Alan Rigby at the Cross Scythes some years ago. Then returning to team up with Scott Philliskirk, an excellent chef and ex staff member of the pub, to hone their skills & operate the Cross Scythes for their own while developing a solid reputation and a real focus on the finer details in hospitality & catering services
Now working with some further highly skilled, old colleagues, Robert & Louise from Turnip & Thyme, a family run business serving British comfort food on Ecclesall Road. We have a combined experience of over 50 years in the hospitality industry, our team is well-versed in catering of all styles and have worked on everything from intimate tasting menu dinners to fast-paced larger scale events and parties.
We are passionate about our food, drink and service and pride ourselves in being able to work with our customers' budgets and requirements to come up with the ideal bespoke offering for your event.
At Scythes Catering we have a well trained team of staff available to help your event run smoothly and we can supply any required hardware for your event, such as tableware, cutlery and glassware.
Assistance with other event aspects is also available, such as obtaining relevant bar licenses and helping to supply bands and DJs who we have worked with and feel confident to recommend to our clients.
